Virat Kohli, one of the best cricketers in world, is loved by one and all. His cricketing skills, cover drives, the fresh aggression on the field, and the way he carries himself off the field is inspiring. After retiring from Tests and T20Is, Kohli is focused on playing the One Day Internationals (ODI) for the country. Thus, the fans wait for the ODI series to happen.

This time, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) made it compulsory for all players to take part in the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2025, including Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma. After years, the players entered the stadiums in the domestic set-up and owned it like never before. Kohli slammed a magnificent 121 runs in the first game, followed by a 77-run innings in the second.

Despite giving his available dates for the tournament and deciding to play three games, instead of two, Kohli follows Rohit Sharma's path and opts out of the game against Railways. As per a report by ANI, Kohli will not be playing in the upcoming Vijay Hazare Trophy 2025-26 match on January 6.
