Termed as the 'Best 15-year-old in the country' by Arsenal midfielder Declan Rice, Dowman hails from Arsenal’s famous Hale End academy. Dowman is the youngest player ever to feature in a Premier League 2 game at just 14 years old, and then excelled in Arsenal's U18 and England U17 squads with impressive goals and assists.
As per the stats from transfermarkt, in 25 games for Arsenal U-18s, Dowman had scored 20 goals and had 10 assists.

Born on 31st December 2009, in Chelmsford, England, Max Dowman has been a product of the Hale End academy. The 15-year-old has already played for the England U-17 squad and has scored 4 goals in 14 appearances for them.

Although he has scored many goals for Arsenal U14 and U18 teams, Max Dowman has mostly played as a right winger or an attacking midfielder so far in his career.
Even in his senior debut for Arsenal in the friendly match against AC Milan, he played as an attacking midfielder and went down the right wing whenever he had the chance. Normally a left-footed player, Dowman is known for his ability to stop and turn and quickly make defenders fall before going for the 'D box' strike.
Although he played only 25 minutes in Arsenal's 1-0 win over AC Milan in Singapore, the Gunner boss Mikel Arteta was impressed with the 15-year-old's performance.
"It's good, winning and a clean sheet as well, overall a very good performance, a very consistent performance throughout the game. We had a lot of changes, we’ve seen the players are playing at a very high level," Arteta said via Arsenal.com.
"A big joy as well to watch so many young kids playing at 15, 16, 17 years old performing at that level, overall, very good," he mentioned about the performance of Max Dowman.
Dowman, who had a Sofascore rating of 7.3 in the match, had 92% of passing accuracy. More than that, he also won four out of five duels during his 25 minutes on the field.-
