Team India is all set to face Bangladesh in the 2nd ODI of the three-match series. Mehidy Hasan Miraz literally stole the show from the clutches of the Men in Blue. The lower-order batter went on score 38* runs off 39 balls and put India under a lot of frustration.

However, India could have won the game at one point, if it was not for the drop catch by wicketkeeper KL Rahul.

In the 42.3 over Shardul Thakur bolwed to Mehidy Hasan Miraz and the ball went for the slog. It got a huge top-edge and the keeper circled under it and despite getting both gloves, he dropped it.

This surely proved to be the game changer and Mehidy Hasan Miraz went all out and won the game for Bangladesh.

So should India continue with KL Rahul as the keeper or should the management give Ishan Kishan a chance?

Rishabh Pant was released from national duties in Bangladesh and speculation had begun to rife over likely disciplinary or Covid-19 situation as the possible reasons.

According to Cricbuzz, Pant had landed in Dhaka from New Zealand but later requested the team management to be released from the ODI series. It is learned that that the young cricketer had spoken to skipper Rohit Sharma and coach Rahul Dravid about the same.

The Indian vice-captain KL Rahul had also revealed that the Indian team management had asked him to be 'ready to keep wickets and bat in middle-order in ODIs going ahead.

While KL Rahul's batting had no issues, it was his keeping that even got many fans questioning and asking if Ishan Kishan - who is part of the squad - be given a chance. In fact, many even complained about why Sanju Samson was not part of the squad as a whole.

Talking about the 2nd ODI game, it will be played on December 06, Wednesday at Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium, Dhaka.
