Bigg Boss 16 promo: Salman Khan calls out Sumbul’s OBSESSION with Shalin

Shalin and Tina’s rift has also been affected by the former’s friendship with Sumbul.

The Bigg Boss house this season has witnessed a number of friendships being forged among contestants. Perhaps one of the most volatile among them is the bond between Shalin Bhanot and Sumbul Touqeer. Although the duo seemed to be thick friends initially, trouble brewed between the two soon, and the recent episodes have witnessed their bond become as volatile as ever, with Sumbul even claiming at one point that she did not want to be friends with the actor anymore. The tense nature of their friendship even seems to have caught the eye of host Salman Khan, who called out the nature of the duo’s bond.

In a new promo for the upcoming Shukravaar Ka Vaar episode, Salman is seen claiming that Sumbul is obsessed with Shalin, as we see a clip of her telling Shalin that he will not go out. As Shalin says that Sumbul is 20 years younger to him, Salman claims that even Tina is not given even 5 minutes of Shalin’s time these days. When Tina adds that Sumbul waits for Shalin to come back even when the latter goes to the bathroom, Sumbul sobs and tells the host that she wants to go home. An angry Salman asks who is stopping her from leaving.

Shalin and Sumbul have had numerous arguments over the course of their friendship, with the latter even claiming that she did not want to be friends with him at one point. Shalin’s constant defence of Sumbul has irked Tina on more than one occasion, and seems to be one of the reasons which has caused a rift in their relationship.
