Kangana Ranaut’s Dhaakad, despite being Bollywood’s venture into a woman action star, has not been able to connect with the audiences. The movie has been suffering at the Box Office while its competitor Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is breaking records. With Rs. 14 crores on its opening day, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is the second highest grossing post-pandemic film after Akshay Kumar’s Sooryavanshi. The budget for both Dhaakad and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 were also at par but Kangana charged almost as much as Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 opening day.

According to Releasing Now, Kangana was paid Rs. 10 crores for Dhaakad. That is just Rs. 4 crores lesser than Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’s opening day Box Office collection.

Arjun is the male lead in Dhaakad. He was paid Rs. 3 crores for his role. However, since he had a lesser screen space as compared to Kangana, they were paid almost equally.

Divya has given her all to Dhaakad and it shows. Many have praised Divya over even Kangana. However, the actress was paid a mere sum of Rs. 30 lakhs.

Saswata became a known name in Bollywood since his debut in 2012 with Vidya Balan’s Kahaani. He was now seen in Razneesh ‘Razy’ Ghai’s Dhaakad. The actor took home Rs. 40 lakhs.

One of the most loved actors currently, Sharib Hashmi is also a part of Dhaakad and ironically, he is one of the loving characters in the film. Sharib’s popularity went up after he was seen in Manoj Bajpayee’s The Family Man but it didn’t seem to have reflected in his pay. The actor took home Rs. 30 lakhs, same as Divya.

Dhaakad is yet to hit even Rs. 10 crore mark.

Vijay seems to have the Midas Touch when it comes to the box office earnings of his films. Thalapathy’s Master, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, raked in almost Rs. 141.80 crores in TN. Master is available for streaming on ZEE5 and Amazon Prime Video.

Bigil is yet another Vijay film that broke the box office during its run. Directed by Atlee, the film earned Rs. 140.50 crores in Tamil Nadu. On OTT, the film is available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video.

Vijay managed to bring another box office hit in the form of 2018’s Sarkar. The AR Murugadoss directorial, which also featured Keerthy Suresh and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, grossed Rs. 131 crores in Tamil Nadu. The film can be streamed on Netflix.

Viswasam was directed by Siva and starred Ajith Kumar, Nayanthara, Jagapathi Babu and Anikha Surendran in lead roles. The film grossed a hefty Rs. 128 crores in TN. On OTT, Viswasam can be watched on Disney+Hotstar.

Vijay features in the list yet again with his 2017 film Mersal. The Atlee directorial minted Rs. 126.70 crores during its box office run in TN. The film, which also stars Nithya Menen, Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Kajal Aggarwal, can be streamed on Netflix and Disney+Hotstar.

Vijay’s latest outing came with the highly awaited Beast, a film fans have been waiting for quite a while. Although the film received mixed reviews, it did put up a good fight at the box office. The film, directed by Nelson and also starring Pooja Hegde,earned approximately Rs. 120 crores during the first 27 days of its box office run in TN. Beast can be streamed on Netflix.

2.0 saw Rajinikanth back on the big screen in his much loved sci-fi avatar in 2010’s Enthiran. Also starring Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson, the S. Shankar directorial grossed almost Rs. 113.20 crores at the TN box office. The film can be watched on Amazon Prime Video.

KGF: Chapter 2 saw Yash grace the big screen yet again as the daring Rocky, and fans welcomed the hero back with open arms. The film grossed approximately Rs. 105 crores in the first 26 days of its release in Tamil Nadu. The Prashanth Neel directorial, which also stars Sanjay Dutt and Raveena Tandon, can be rented on Amazon Prime Video.

Petta stars Rajinikanth, Vijay Sethupathi, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and a host of other superstars. The film, directed by Karthik Subbaraj, earned Rs. 104 crores during its run in Tamil Nadu. Petta can be streamed on Netflix and Voot.

All these blockbusters found their way into the Rs 100 crore club during their

A case has been filed in a Bihar court against all four of them alleging the actors for promoting pan masala and gutkha. The case was reportedly filed by Tamanna Hashmi, a Muzaffarpur-based social activist.
The petition reportedly states that they exploited their fame to promote gutkha solely for financial gain. The court has accepted the case and is expected to hear it on May 27. Amitabh Bachchan had terminated his deal with a chewing tobacco brand last October and his office issued a statement claiming that Big B was unaware of several details.

Mr. Sr Bachchan claimed that he was unaware that his association with the brand was classified as surrogate advertising, according to the statement. He has now cancelled his contract with the brand, contacted them to inform them of his termination, and reportedly returned the promotional funds.

Shah Rukh Khan has also lately participated in the Vimal campaign. He's also a supporter of Pan Vilas. Along with Big B, Shah Rukh Khan was also accused of marketing the pan masala brand.

For a long time, Ajay Devgn has been endorsing this pan masala brand, and later SRK and Akshay Kumar accompanied him. This time, unfortunately, the actor finds himself in legal troubles.
