Hemanth M. Rao and Rakshit Shetty embarked on an intense journey named Sapta Sagaradaache Ello many moons ago, hoping to create a new kind of magic with their second collaboration. The film demanded Hemanth Rao, the director, to be keen and astute with his craft whereas Rakshit Shetty, on the other hand, was required to dedicate a lot of time and effort to the film and also deliver arguably his most vulnerable performance to date.
With two talented actresses in the form of Rukmini Vasanth and Chaithra J. Achar, too, part of the project along with a most skilled crew, the film piqued the curiosities of all those who encountered it on the internet. And turns out, it would take a mammoth effort on their parts to see the film through as team Sapta Sagaradaache Ello wraps up the shoot after 137 days of production.

"When the waves of #SSE is ready to hit the theatrical shores, we hope you’ll be there with your loved ones to watch it ☺️ For now, its a wrap to the 137 days of shoot ♥️" wrote the Richard Anthony actor who also shared a visual glimpse of the wrap-up activity on the sets of Sapta Sagaradaache Ello, which also included the mandatory 'kumbalakayi' ceremony!

Co-writer and director Hemanth Rao would term the 137-day-long shoot a combination of 'crazy fun and hard work', before going on to say that he cannot wait to show the film to his audience.
In his previous conversation with OTTplay, Hemanth had spoken about honing his craft while on the job and how he was required to step up his game to realize his vision. Both he and the film's cinematographer Advaitha Gurumurthy had decided on shooting the film with anamorphic lenses and this particular aspect of the execution proved to be an intense challenge for the team. Nevertheless, he adds, the whole expedition has been incredibly fun and exciting.
