The team of Dhanush's Naane Varuven recently had a surprise in store for the fans. Former Bigg Boss Tamil contestant Aajeedh Khalique has now revealed that he is part of the film and has made it official by sharing a picture with the film's director Selvaraghavan. The actor stated that he has completed dubbing for his portions. He captioned the picture, "Grateful 🙏🏻 #naanevaruven #dubbingdone @selvaraghavan @dhanushkraja @gitanjaliselvaraghavan (sic)."

The film, which is touted to be a thriller, has Dhanush in a dual role and the actor said to have trained in archery to portray one of the characters. Selvaraghavan, too, will be appearing in a crucial role in the film. The star cast includes Indhuja Ravichandran, Elli AvRam, Prabhu, Yogi Babu and Shelly Kishore. The post production work is on in full swing. Music for the film is by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Cinematography is by Om Prakash and editing is being handled by Prasanna GK.

The film marks the fifth collaboration between Selvaraghavan and Dhanush after Thulluvadho Ilamai, Kadhal Kondein, Pudhupettai and Mayakkam Enna. The brother duo is reuniting after a gap of more than a decade and this has piqued the curiosity among the audience. Yuvan and Dhanush had earlier worked together in Thulluvadho Ilamai, Pudhukottaiyilirundhu Saravanan, Kadhal Kondein, Pudhupettai, Yaaradi Nee Mohini and Maari 2. Kalaipuli Thanu has bankrolled the film under his production house banner, V Creations. While the satellite rights have been bagged by Sun TV, the digital rights have been acquired by Amazon Prime Video.

In the meantime, Dhanush is gearing up for the release of his next with director Mithran Jawahar, Thiruchitrambalam. The trailer of the film was released yesterday and Dhanush plays a food delivery agent in the film. Thiruchitrambalam has three leading ladies, namely Nithya Menen, Priya Bhavani Shankar and Raashi Khanna. Music for the film is by Anirudh Ravichander and the song Thaai Kelavi is already a chartbuster. The film will hit screens on August 18.
