The ultimate Breaking Bad Quiz

In anticipation of the upcoming Better Call Saul season 6 premiere, AMC will run a full Breaking Bad series marathon over five weeks.

The X Files writer Vince Gilligan spent years working on and ideating a show where the protagonist would evolve into the antagonist. The series is about Walter White, an underpaid chemistry professor who takes to organised crime of meth peddling, with his former student, Jesse. He opts for such a life of crime to fully obtain a future of financial safety for his family, after his death by his recently diagnosed lung cancer. The series plunges into complex questions of morality, family duty, the hubris that initiates a complete downfall, while melding chemistry into everyday life. The series’ scientific accuracy has also been widely appreciated. In 2013, Breaking Bad made the Guinness world records as the most critically acclaimed show of all time. Bryan Cranston, who essayed White, won four Emmys for his performance, while the series has snagged sixteen Emmys from a staggering 58 nomination tally. A supporting character, Saul Goodman, spawned his own hugely successful spin off show, Better Call Saul.
