Marry My Husband is among the rare K-dramas that continue to receive attention thanks to its captivating premises and indelible characters. The revenge K-drama concluded with a happy ending after 16 episodes on Amazon Prime Video. The last episode aired on the streamer on February 20 and has since been the talk of the town.

Park Min-young leads the star cast of Marry My Husband and is one of the main characters. The series also stars actors Na In-woo, Lee Yi-kyung, and Song Ha-yoon. Here are the top five characters that shone the brightest. Each of these characters is set in the workplace of U&K Food.

Yoo Ji-hyuk (played by Na In-woo)

Starring as the male protagonist, Yoo Ji-hyuk is not just a character; he is the greenest flag in a relationship. Fans are going gaga over his romantic gestures. Be it the dreamy proposal or “becoming the solid land” of Ji-won, Ji-hyuk is a gem. He’s smart, loyal, and a responsible manager who would burn down the world for his love.

Soo-min (played by Song Ha-yoon)

You may love or hate her, but you can’t ignore her! This villainous character is a great one (to hate, of course) and takes the drama to the next level. Soo-min’s character is calculative and immoral, which reflects the difference between the two childhood best friends, Ji-won and Soo-min. You can tell that a vamp has nailed her performance when fans start hating the character.

Her crocodile tears, bitterness, and squeaky voice still haunt fans on social media.

Park Min-hwan (played by Lee Yi-kyung)

Playing the titular husband, Park Min-hwan is another hateful character who is so irritating that, at times, you want to personally punish him for his wrongdoings. Thanks to his dishonesty and sly demeanour, the character’s “Gwenchana” dialogue has turned into a meme fest.

Yoo Hui-yeon (played by Choi Gyu-ri)

Yoo Hui-yeon is a character who can gracefully carry a whole spin-off with her charm. The bubbly character is a young employee of the U&K Food team, who is also the step-sister of the male protagonist. What made her character stand out the most was her will to sacrifice for true friends while also returning bad with worse. This foodie might be a bit crazy, but she won the audience with her charisma, which she has oodles of.

Yang Ju-ran (Gong Min-jeung)

Yang Ju-ran's morally upright character is tastefully done and builds a connection with viewers for its realistic traits. She’s a working mom who strives to strike a balance between her family life and career. Despite her marital conflicts and fatal disease, Yang Ju-ran fights back with her strong personality. The character’s take on fairness and work integrity shows why she is a leader.

However, it is hard to accept that she tolerated her unemployed husband, even ignoring his irresponsible behaviour towards their child. Despite her flaws, Ju-ran's character shows significant character development from a hesitant person to a confident and talented woman.

Marry My Husband is available to stream on Amazon Prime Video.
