The New Look

This month's debut of Apple TV+'s historical drama created by Todd A. Kessler about Christian Dior – The New Look – is for fashion fans. Premiering on February 14, the 10-episode series traces the ascent of Christian Dior, the fashion designer who dethroned Coco Chanel and contributed to the resurgence of energy and vitality in the fashion world through his enduring impact and beauty. Featuring Emmy winner Ben Medelsohn as Dior, the series shows how the designer created his fashion line, which unofficially became known as The New Look and transformed the French fashion industry. The stellar cast also includes Academy Award winner Juliette Binoche as Coco Chanel, Maisie Williams as Catherine Dior, John Malkovich as Lucien Lelong, Emily Mortimer as Elsa Lombardi and Claes Bang as Spatz. The Dynasty: New England Patriots

Next on Apple TV+’s February 2024 lineup is the 10-episode sports docuseries ‘The Dynasty: New England Patriots’ , which premieres on February 16. The series explores the two-decade-long journey of the titular American football team, including the franchise’s six Super Bowl championship wins. For the uninitiated, throughout the 2000s and 2010s, quarterback Tom Brady and head coach Bill Belichick served as the cornerstones of the Patriots dynasty. The duo guided the Patriots to nine Super Bowl appearances, winning six of them and setting several team and league records between 2001 and 2019. While Belichick is recognised as one of the best coaches of all time, Brady is considered the greatest quarterback of all time. They were regarded as one of the all-time great QB-HC tandems when they played together. However, no sports franchise exists without a crack in the wall, right? This is what the gripping series is about—a journey from a struggling franchise to becoming a football dynasty and the in-between. Watch it to learn more.

Constellation

Created by Peter Harness and directed by Michelle MacLaren, this eight-part psychological thriller will be released on Apple TV+ on February 21. The science adventure starring Noomi Rapace and Jonathan Banks sees Rapace as Jo, a lady who discovers that certain aspects of her life seem to be missing after returning to Earth following a mission-related catastrophe. The first three episodes will air on Apple TV+ every Wednesday until March 27. After that, a single episode will air each week. The series also stars Barbara Sukowa, William Catlett, and Julian Looman from 'Emily in Paris’, James D'Arcy from 'Oppenheimer' and launches Rosie and Davina Coleman.

Criminal Record (Finale)

The first two episodes of the crime drama on Apple TV+, which premiered on January 10, will be followed by one episode per week until the finale on February 21. Starring Cush Jumbo, Peter Capaldi and Stepehen Campbell Moore in pivotal roles, the series is about what happens when an anonymous phone call leads two detectives, Capaldi and Cush Jumbo, one a seasoned veteran and the other a rookie, get involved in a high-stakes dispute about a historic murder conviction.

Messi’s World Cup: The Rise of a Legend

The third and last among the February 21 releases on Apple TV+ is ‘Messi’s World Cup: The Rise of a Legend’. This four-part docuseries showcases the iconic Argentine footballer’s journey, including being an eight-time Ballon d'Or winner and concluding with lifting the FIFA World Cup in 2022. In the documentary, Messi speaks candidly about his club and international career, which culminated in the World Cup win in Qatar that will go down in history. The documentary series also features commentary from competitors, coaches, and teammates of Messi. From his very first game playing for Argentina to his premature retirement in 2016 and winning the World Cup as the greatest player in the tournament, Messi looks back at some of difficult times and personal experiences from his career.
