Barfi!

Barfi, directed by Anurag Basu is a comedy drama which is available on Netflix and Google Play. The movie revolves around Murphy "Barfi" Johnson (Ranbir Kapoor) who is a happy go lucky man who is also born deaf and mute; and Jhilmil (Priyanka Chopra) who is an autistic heiress of a wealthy family. Barfi is known for being notorious and is always chased by Sudhanshu Dutta (Saurabh Shukla). He falls in love with Shruti Ghosh (Ileana D'Cruz) who is a beautiful and smart lady but is rejected by her father due to Barfi’s disabilities. As Barfi’s father falls ill he kidnaps Jhilmil for ransom. Once he secures the money he learns that his father has passed away so he takes the role of Jhilmil’s caretaker. On the other hand Shruti moves and gets married to Ranjeet Sengupta (Jisshu Sengupta). Jhilmil goes missing when Shruti and Barfi meet and is assumed dead. Later on Barfi finds her and the two get married. When Barfi falls ill Jhilmil stays by his side and even dies beside him not being able to stay away from him.
