Chhapaak

Starring Deepika Padukone, Chhapak (2020) is a Hindi biographical drama film directed by Meghna Gulzar. Based on real-life incidents, the film follows the trials and triumphs of acid attack survivor Malti. From the investigation of the attack to the court cases and the emotional and physical recovery, Chhapak is a tale of the indomitable human spirit. Vikrant Massey, Madhurjeet Sarghi, Payal Nair, Vaibhavi Upadhyaya, Geeta Agarwal, Vishal Dahiya, and Ankit Bisht appear in prominent roles. The musical trio of Shankar–Ehsaan–Loy composed the music and scores for the film.
