Drishyam

Drishyam is a 2013 Indian Malayalam film directed by Jeethu Joseph. This is a thriller drama film which follows the story of a man and his quest to protect his family against all odds as his family gets involved in something unfortunate. Georgekutty and his family lead a simple life. However, when his daughter and wife get involved in an unintended murder, Georgekutty must save them from the clutches of law as the deceased person is the son of police officer Geetha Prabhakar. He formulates a plan and asks his family to follow it and remain calm. His strategized plan works and he provides all the proof necessary. However, Geetha is very much focused on catching them and finding a weak spot. The film ends with Georgekutty and his family walking free. Drishyam was an exceptional film with some thrilling twists and turns. Towards the very end, a major twist is given which still leaves the audience in awe of it.
