Dune: Part Two

In this sequel to Denis Villeneuve's  2021 film Dune, Paul Atreides' legendary quest will continue as he joins forces with Chani and the Fremen people of Arrakis and goes on a vengeful rampage against House Harkonnen who decimated his family. He is trying to avert a horrible destiny that only he can predict while confronting an uncomfortable choice between the love of his life and the fate of the universe he's known. Dune: Part Two is the second part to the adaptation of the 1965 novel of the same name by Frank Herbert unfolding the next chapter of a timeless masterpiece. Villeneuve co-wrote the screenplay for Part Two with Jon Spaihts after Legendary Entertainment acquired the rights and Warner Bros. Pictures produced the epic. The sequel is arguably the most-anticipated science-fiction movie of the year. The film features a ensemble cast consisting of Part One's original cast Timothée Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson, Josh Brolin, Stellan Skarsgård, Dave Bautista, Stephen McKinley Henderson, Zendaya, Charlotte Rampling, and Javier Bardem alongside Austin Butler, Florence Pugh, Christopher Walken, Léa Seydoux and Souheila Yacoub. The film finds Paul grappling with the consequences of his clairvoyance and the burden of his destiny, against backdrop of interstellar intrigue, environmental concerns, and religious fervor. Budapest, Italy, and Abu Dhabi feature as the central character of the desert planet of Arrakis with its giant sandworms and unforgiving terrain.
