Directed by Jonas Poher Rasmussen, the academy award-nominated Danish filmmaker, the animated docudrama show a true story. The film follows Amin Nawabi, an academic refugee living in Denmark. Nawabi reveals his dark experiences of being a child refugee from Afghanistan through animation. The voice of Nawabi is done by British-Pakistani actor and rapper Riz Ahmed, who is known for his roles in The Sound of Metal (2019), Encounter (2016) and The Night Of (2016).
