Guardians Of The Galaxy, a 2014 movie, is directed by James Gunn, streaming on Amazon Prime Video and Netflix. It is a fiction, comedy, and action-adventure movie, based on the Marvel comics. It stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Vin Diesel, and Bradley Cooper in the leads.
The movie revolves around a young man who would lead a group called the guardians of the galaxy.
Peter Quill, played by Chris Pratt, is abducted from Earth, soon after his mother dies, by Ravagers, a group of alien smugglers led by Yondu Udonta. He is brought up by Yondu, among the aliens, but as the little guy becomes a man, he flees from there.
The voice of Rocket in the film, Bradley Cooper, apprised Howard Stern that he was paid more for that job in Guardians Of The Galaxy than his roles in Silver Linings Playbook and The Hangover combined.
The voice of Groot was given by Vin Diesel, who recorded all his lines in several different languages, including Russian, Mandarin, Spanish, Portuguese, German, and French, for the sole reason of his real voice being used by the makers in the film around the world.
However, the making of this movie helped Vin to overcome a dark phase in his life, when he lost his best friend and "Fast and Furious" co-star, Paul Walker in a major car accident. Vin Diesel also conveyed that “playing a character who celebrates life in the way Groot does, was very nice.”
