James is an action thriller film, written and directed by Chethan Kumar. The film stars Puneeth Rajkumar and Priya Anand in lead roles. It also marks Puneeth’s posthumous appearance following his death in October 2021.

 The story of the film revolves around James aka Santoshkumar who works as a manager in a security agency. He is a happy man until he suddenly enters the dark world and meets powerful people who were very active in the crime syndicate.

 The film, when released, was considered a fitting tribute to Puneeth, and received wide success at the box office.
