Khaleja

Written & Directed by Trivikram Srinivas, Khaleja is a 2010 Telugu language film starring Anushka Shetty, Prakash Raj & Mahesh Babu. Pali in Andhra Pradesh suffers from an unnatural disease which is taking the lives of poor and innocent villagers and the only way to escape the disease is through a person who possesses supernatural powers. A taxi driver, Raju comes as a savior of the villagers and uncovers the reason behind the disease which turns out to be scientific rather than some sorcery. Poisonous factory chemicals seep into the drinking water causing the contamination and thereby killing the villagers who drank it.
