Logan

Logan, a 2017 movie is directed by James Mangold. It is a science fiction and drama film involving action and adventure, based on Wolverine, starring Hugh Jackman as Logan and Patrick Stewart as Charles Xavier. This movie is the tenth film in the X-Men series and is known to be the third and final installment in the Wolverine trilogy. The movie is set in 2029 when Logan loses his healing ability, and there is no mutant born in 25 years. He takes care of 90-year-old Charles Xavier, Logan's mentor and founder of the X-Men, who has developed dementia. Later in the movie, Logan comes to know that Transigen created Laura and several other children from mutant DNA to become weapons. Even though superhero films like Logan experienced worldwide appreciation due to its past movies and popularity due to X-men, it also received a few negative criticisms from Stephanie Zacharek of the Time magazine and Michael Phillips of the Chicago Tribune. They stated that “...in the climax, borderline offensive..” and "The grim side of human nature is all over James Mangold's Logan. But that doesn't necessarily make it a good movie" respectively.
