M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story

M.S.Dhoni: The Untold Story, a 2016 movie, is directed by Neeraj Pandey The film is a biography of M.S. Dhoni, the former captain of the Indian National Cricket Team. It revolves around the life of Dhoni. The film is set in Ranchi, in the year 1981, when Mahendra Singh Dhoni was born. As he approaches school, he gets familiar with cricket. Even though Mahi, Played by Sushant Singh Rajput, never showed his affection towards cricket, his attempt towards fielding, batting, and wicket-keeping grew with his age. Due to the family's financial condition and not getting very lucky with cricket, Mahi turns into a ticket collector in Kharagpur Station but soon gets depressed by his job. He accepts to his father, Pan Singh, played by Anupam Kher, that cricket is the only thing he can embrace and would take up cricket as his profession. He gets selected for the National team. As Mahi wins the T-20 World cup and leads India to the number one position, he meets Kiara Advani as Sakshi and falls in love with her. They get married before Mahi leaves for the 2011 World cup training. Towards the end of the movie, the last inning of the 2011 World cup is on the track, and Mahi hits a six, thus, winning the World cup.
