Pushpaka Vimana is 1987 Indian comedy film, written and directed by Singeetam Srinivasa Rao. It is a silent film with no dialogues and stars Kamal Hassan.
An unemployed graduate is in search of a job and is staying at a lodge. While roaming around, he looks at a girl and is instantly attracted to her. On the other hand, he finds a drunk millionaire and takes him to his lodge. He keeps the millionaire sedated and goes to stay in the millionaire’s suite at a big hotel, Pushpak.
He finds out that the girl is a magician’s daughter and is also staying at Pushpak. Meanwhile, the hotel’s owner dies and the two meet at his funeral. They both fall in love with each other.
The graduate learns about the hotel owner’s past. The owner was a poor man and built this big hotel on his own without any unlawful activities. This led the graduate to think about his despicable act. He decides to free the millionaire and tell the truth to his lover. He also decides to lead a good life and follow the right path in order to be a successful man in life.
