Puthiya Niyamam

Vasuki is a 2016 Indian Malayalam language film directed by Amal Neerad. This is a crime drama film which follows the story of a married couple, Louis Pothen, an advocate and Vasuki, a Kathakali dancer. Vasuki is a housewife and does Kathakali as well. Her life takes a dark turn, when she is raped by her neighbours. She goes in shock after the incident and later contemplates suicide but holds herself somehow. She decides that not she, but the rapists should die. Vasuki doesn’t confide of this incident to even her husband. She somehow gets the contact of Jeena Bhai, the police commissioner. She takes the help of him and decides to take revenge. She kills her neighbour one by one. The real twist is that Jeena Bhai isn’t really Jeena Bhai but Vasuki never realizes the truth.
