Queen

Queen is a 2014 Indian comedy drama film directed by Vikas Bahl. The film stars Kangana Ranaut, Lisa Haydon and Rajkummar Rao. Rani Mehra is a shy Punjabi girl living in Delhi and is going to marry Vijay who calls off the wedding at the last moment as he believes that she does not match up to his status. She is heart-broken and decides to go on her pre-booked honeymoon to Paris and Amsterdam. Her family reluctantly agrees. Upon reaching Paris, she regrets her decision to come alone as she is constantly getting into trouble. But, she meets a fun-loving and independent girl, Vijaylaxmi who gives her confidence to live her life to the fullest. She dances and drinks without any hesitation and does all those things that Vijay didn’t allow. While shopping, she accidently sends a selfie to Vijay in which she is wearing revealing clothes according to her. Vijay thinks of pursuing her once again. She bids farewell to Vijaylaxmi and goes to Amsterdam. She is shocked upon finding that she has to share her hostel room with three boys but they all eventually become friends. Vijay reaches Amsterdam and starts judging her friends. Rani asks Vijay to go back and continue to enjoy with her friends. She returned India as a confident woman and returned her engagement ring to Vijay.
