Raazi

Raazi is a 2018 Indian Hindi - language directed by Meghna Gulzar. It is a spy thriller film starring Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal. The movie is set in the year of 1971 during the Indo - Pakistan war. It follows the story of a 20-year-old girl with a photocopy memory, Sehmat who is the daughter of an Indian freedom fighter, Hidayat khan. He is an informant for the Indian government against the Pakistan government. He wishes that Sehmat should also serve the country. Sehmat agrees to fulfil her father’s last wish before dying of lung cancer. She starts her training with RAW officer Khalid Mir and his assistant. Hidayat uses his friendship with Pakistani Brigadier Syed and got Sehmat married to his younger son Iqbal Syed. Sehmat gets married to Iqbal and migrates to Pakistan. In Pakistan, she sets up her communication system in order to send all the information of Pakistan’s secret missions to India. But her mission is not at all easy and she has to go through several hardships and dangers in order to complete her mission.
