The Conjuring

The Conjuring is a 2013 American English - language film directed by James Wan. It is a supernatural horror film starring Vera Farmica, Patrick Wilson, Ron Livingston and Lili taylor. This is the first film in the Conjuring Franchise Universal. The film is set in 1971, Carolyn and Roger Perron move into a dilapidated Rhode Island farmhouse along with their whole family. They begin their new lives in the new house happily but soon strange things start to happen around it with escalating nightmarish terror. Terrified of all these incidents and in desperation, Carolyn contacts the noted paranormal investigators, Ed Warren and Lorraine Warren, to examine the house. The thing Warrens discover is a whole area steeped in a satanic haunting that is now targeting the Perron family wherever they go. This shocks everyone and makes them scared to the core. To stop this evil and help the Perron family live their lives peacefully in their new home, the Warrens will have to call upon all their skills and spiritual strength to defeat this spectral menace at its source that threatens to destroy everyone involved. But this is not at all easy and they have to go through a series of life - threatening events before destroying this evil.
