The Departed

The Departed is a 2006 spy crime thriller based on Infernal Affairs (a Hong Kong film) and the real-life Boston Winter Hill Gang. The story revolves around the acts of a covert agent and a spy as they compete to expose the other before time and luck run out. Directed by Martin Scorsese, the screenplay is by William Monahan. The movie includes Leonardo DiCaprio, Matt Damon, Jack Nicholson and Mark Wahlberg in leading roles. The supporting cast includes Martin Sheen, Ray Winstone, Vera Farmiga, and Alec Baldwin. The film won 4 Oscars and several accolades.
