Transformers: Rise of the Beasts

Acting as a prequel to Transformers and a stand-alone sequel to to Bumblebee, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts is an American sci-fi action film and the seventh installment in the Transformers live-action film series. The film is set in 1994 as the Autobot factions of the Maximals and the Beasties are being set up by ex-military electronics expert Noah Diaz and artifact researcher Elena Wallace. The objective is to hinder a wormhole portal initiator artifact known as the Transwarp Key located in the hands of the devious Predacon faction of the Terrorcons. If failed to put an end to it, the Key would transport their diety that consumes planets, the Unicron to Earth just to appease his appetite. 

Produced by Michael Bay, the director of the first five live-action Transformers films, and directed by Steven Caple Jr. the film stars Anthony Ramos, Dominique Fishback, Ron Perlman, Peter Dinklage, Michelle Yeoh, Pete Davidson, Liza Koshy, Michaela Jaé Rodriguez, Colman Domingo, Cristo Fernández, Tongayi Chirisa, and franchise regulars such as Peter Cullen, John DiMaggio, and David Sobolov. The film did fairly well at the box office with mixed reviews but ultimately was lowest-grossing installment in the franchise. Fans are in anticipating of two sequels are in development, while an animated prequel set on Cybertron.
