Actor Manikandan’s latest film Kudumbasthan, which released earlier this year and earned positive reception and reviews, debuted on OTT recently. The film is available for streaming on ZEE5 currently. Upon its streaming debut, the film has been getting a fair share of negative reviews from those who had skipped watching during theatrical release.
Kudumbasthan is a 2025 Tamil film featuring Manikandan in the lead role. The film released in January in theatres, and soon opened to positive reception. After its theatrical run, the film is now available on ZEE5 and OTTplay Premium app. You can watch the film in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam languages.
Once its OTT premiere, a fair share of netizens felt the film over hyped and some even called it a “scam”. While at the time of release, Manikandan’s performance was hailed, one social media pointed out that Manikandan's casting is "not suitable".
