Hansika Motwani's single-shot thriller, 105 Minutes, has finally arrived on a streaming platform. The Telugu film that was released in January, is now available for rent on Amazon Prime Video. It is the first Indian film to be shot in a single take with just one character. Directed by Raju Dussa, the film got to positive reception upon its release.
What is 105 Minutes all about?
Headlined by Hansika, 105 Minutes revolves around a young woman (played by Hansika) who returns home after a long day out, only to encounter a strange and eerie event. Hansika, who is the sole cast member in the film, creates an interesting storyline through her performance. The film's execution received a thumbs up from audiences who were waiting to watch Hansika in an interesting thriller film. 105 Minutes runs for 145 minutes and only Hansika features in the entire film. The movie was shot live.
Drawing inspiration from films like BirdMan and 1917, which have little to no dialogues and minimal screenplay, 105 Minutes was shot with no computer graphics or CGI scenes. According to audiences, it has set a new benchmark in the Telugu film industry as far as experimental movies go.

105 Minutes is the 'toughest film' of Hansika Motwani's career
During the promotions for the film, Hansika had said that 105 Minutes was the toughest movie she has ever worked in. “When I signed the film, I thought that it may not be a big deal to do a single-character film. It is by far the toughest project of my career. The way the director narrated the story and treated the subject is amazing,” she said.
