12th Fail teaser
12th Fail starring Vikrant Massey is an upcoming drama film, based on the real-life events of the incredible journey of IPS officer Manoj Kumar Sharma and IRS officer Shraddha Joshi. Inspired by Anurag Pathak's best-selling novel, the forthcoming flick is directed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra. The makers have dropped the teaser that sees the chaos and drama in UPSC students' lives.
The teaser begins with showcasing the narrow streets of Mukherji Nagar, Delhi packed with UPSC aspirants. The video displays a jam-packed classroom, where a teacher lectures about being an IAS and tries to inspire young students. Shot in a real location, the video further showcases the struggle of multiple students including Massey, who fails his first attempt at cracking the exam, while one of his fellow mates asks him to restart.
The makers dropped the official teaser video with a special caption which unveils an important dialogue of the film that reads, ""Zabaan chalana shuru kahan ki ab tak - chambal ka hun samjha?" (sic)."

The latest teaser might draw some similarities with the TVF original Aspirants, however, the upcoming film appears much more realistic than the 2021 drama series.
Talking about the teaser, Chopra shared in a recent statement that the film is made to give tribute to the honest officers of our country who safeguard our Constitution and the countless students who aspire to follow in their footsteps. He also added that if 12th Fail encourages any individual to embark on their journey to strive for honesty and excellence, he would consider it a success.
12th Fail, which also has Anshumaan Pushkar in a key role, is slated to have a theatrical release worldwide on October 27 in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam languages.
