The actor's performance, along with impressive portrayals by Manikandan, Lijomol Jose, Prakash Raj, Thamizh and Rao Ramesh garnered unanimous positive responses from cinephiles. It had a direct release on Amazon Prime and was bankrolled by Suriya's 2D Entertainment.
