Motta Rajendran, Mansoor Ali Khan, Redin Kingsley, Anandraj, Munishkanth, KS Ravikumar and Tiger Thangadurai play significant characters in the movie. Radhika Preethi has played the female lead in the comic caper.

Amazon Prime bags the movie's digital rights

The makers have revealed the digital partner of 80s Buildup along with its first look poster. Amazon Prime has bagged the OTT rights of the film. Sabhaapathy was the last film of Santhanam which had Amazon Prime as its digital partner.
