A Ranjith Cinema, the psychological thriller that stars Asif Ali in the lead role, has been garnering attention since the release of its highly promising trailer. The project, which is helmed by newcomer Nishanth Sattu, reportedly revolves around the life of a young man, who is haunted by a fictional story he wrote. As per the latest updates, A Ranjith Cinema has already cracked an OTT deal with the leading platform, Netflix.

The grapevine suggests that it the biggest OTT deal in the career of the project’s leading man Asif Ali, so far. Just like most of the Malayalam films that hit the theatres first in recent times, the Nishanth Sattu directorial will also get its digital release exactly a month after the initial release.

However, director Nishanth Sattu and his team have kept the mystery factor intact in the trailer, which suggests that the project is a content-driven psychological thriller.

Along with Asif Ali, the upcoming project features a stellar star cast including Saiju Kurup, Anson Paul, Namitha Pramod, Hannah Reji Koshy, Jewel Mary, Harisree Ashokan, Aju Varghese, Kottayam Ramesh, Shobha Mohan, and others in the other pivotal roles. Midhun Ashokan has composed the songs and original score for the project. Sunoj Velayudhan is the director of photography. Manoj CS handles the editing. A Ranjith Cinema is slated to hit the theatres on December 8, Friday.
