Heaping praise on the upcoming Malayalam film Aadujeevitham, music maestro A R Rahman said that seeing the work that has gone into the project validates his faith in cinema. He was speaking at the Aadujeevitham website launch event in Kochi today (February 26).
The music director stated that there are a lot of realistic compositions in director Blessy's eagerly anticipated film, Aadujeevitham. He continued by saying that he feels privileged to have collaborated with Benyamin, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Blessy, and the entire team.
"They have given up everything for this project, and seeing them makes me believe in films even more," he remarked. He went on to speak about the audio launch event of the film that will be held in Kochi on March 10.
The Prithviraj Sukumaran-starrer, which was earlier slated to be a Vishu release, will hit the big screen on March 28.
A R Rahman is working on a Malayalam project after a while, following his prior works Yoddha (1992) and Malayankunju (2022). People truly adored both of his works. Given his enormous fan base in Kerala, Malayalis are eager to listen to his compositions in Aadujeevitham.
In Aadujeevitham, Prithviraj Sukumaran portrays Najeeb Muhammad, a man who leaves his hometown in search of employment abroad. Unfortunately, plans do not work out as expected, and he finds himself trapped in a desert while being pursued by unidentified enemies.
The main story of the movie is Najeeb's valiant struggle for survival despite his wounds, hunger, thirst, and fatigue. He never gives up and keeps going forward despite the odds stacked against him.
In addition to Prithviraj, Amala Paul and Haitian actor Jimmy Jean-Louis play significant roles in the movie. K U Mohanan handled the film's cinematography. Magic Frames will be distributing the film to theatres worldwide on March 28.
