Shah Rukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra, and Isha Koppikar's Aaj Ki Raat from Don (2006) is still afresh in entertainment lovers' hearts, and the dance number never fades out. As per a report, a similar dance track inspired by Aaj Ki Raat might be in the making, featuring Kriti Sanon in Don 3. Meanwhile, Don 3 is one of Bollywood's most high-profile upcoming projects.
Don 3 to have Aaj Ki Raat style dance number?
According to a report in India Today, Don 3 may feature a high-energy track similar to 'Aaj Ki Raat', the iconic nightclub sequence from Don (2006) starring Shah Rukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra, and Isha Koppikar.
The new track is said to be similarly stylized, combining glamour and narrative tension, with Kriti Sanon and another actor, who is yet to be locked.
The report also mentioned that Don 3 makers are currently in the process of selecting a second prominent actor for the song along with Kriti. While talks are reportedly underway with a few actors, they contacted Farhan Akhtar, but he is yet to comment on the matter.

Don 3 will feature Ranveer Singh as the new Don, with Kriti Sanon as the female lead. The film is directed by Farhan Akhtar and is expected to begin filming in January 2026 and release in December 2026. Although the story details are still under wraps, it is being said that the film will feature high-energy action sequences and a stylized song similar to "Aaj Ki Raat" from the previous installment.
Farhan Akhtar on choosing Ranveer Singh for Don 3
Before speaking to Raj Shamani, Farhan Akhtar mentioned the discussion on why he chose Ranbir for Don 3 instead of Shah Rukh Khan. He said that the kind of script they were writing, what he wanted to do with it, needed the next generation of actors, and Ranbir was the perfect choice.
Farhan added, "Don requires a very different kind of performance from him. There is a certain holding everything inside that is needed for this character which I don't think he has done so I feel, for him also, it is a nice challenge to be able to do this. You will see him in a different way."
Meanwhile, Don 3 is produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar's Excel Entertainment. Fans are waiting for exciting details of the film ever since it was announced. The film is reportedly scehduled for a December 2026.
