Aami Dakini OTT release date: When and where to watch bone-chilling drama online

A new drama, Aami Dakini, is coming on SonyLIV and Sony TV from 23rd June, every Monday-Friday at 8:00 PM. It will also be available for streaming on OTTplay Premium.

Dakini yearns for the love that she once had, and she returns across lifetimes to reclaim it. To the world, she may seem like an echo from the past, but she returns only to complete her love story. 

Sounds like Shraddha Kapoor's Stree, right? Remember in the first instalment, the town of Chanderi is gripped by the legend of Stree, a female ghost who appears during the four-day festival, targeting men who are alone at night. The townsfolk protect themselves by writing "O Stree, come tomorrow" on their walls. The movie reveals that the wife is not just a vengeful ghost but also a search for honour and her lost pride. She had a tragic love story and a connection to the history of the city. Aami Dakini is expected to be almost like that.

Sheen Dass as Dakini in Aami Dakini

In Aami Dakini, Sheen Dass will portray the role of Dakini. Speaking about her experience, Sheen shared that this role is truly unlike anything she has ever done before. 

"Dakini is an incredibly intense character layered with complexities that challenge every facet of her being. She is powerful, fierce, and unapologetic. Portraying her has been an exhilarating journey, pushing me emotionally and mentally to places I hadn’t explored as an actor before. There were moments of sheer adrenaline, moments of deep reflection, and moments when I had to confront raw, uncomfortable emotions head-on," she said.
