Aamir Khan spilled a lot of beans in his recent interview. The perfectionist of Bollywood announced his new film, Sitaare Zameen Par. At the same time, the actor opened up about his daughter Ira Khan's personal life. Khan revealed the wedding date of Ira and her fiancé Nupur Shikhare. The star kid will be getting married to Nupur on January 3, 2024.
For the unaware, Ira and Nupur's engagement ceremony took place on November 18, 2022. The 26-year-old is the daughter of Aamir and his former wife Reena Dutta.

In an interview with News18, Aamir said, "Ira is getting married on January 3. The boy she has chosen is — waise toh pet name unka naam Popeye hai (his pet name is Popeye) — he is a trainer, he has arms like Popeye but his name is Nupur. He is a lovely boy. When Ira was battling depression, he was with her."
The Bollywood actor further mentioned Nupur has stood by his daughter's side and emotionally supported her. Aamir is happy about the fact that Ira and her fiancé are very well connected.
Aamir Khan considers Nupur Shikhare like his own son
In the same conversation, Aamir went on to add, "This might be a filmy dialogue but I feel Nupur is like a son. Nupur is such a fine boy, we really feel he’s part of the family, and his mother, Pritam ji, is someone who is already a part of our family."

His upcoming project
Aamir's next Hindi film is Sitaare Zameen Par. The actor will also make a special appearance in his on Junaid Khan's production venture, Pritam Pyaare.
His last theatrical release was Laal Singh Chaddha. Khan shared screen space with Kareena Kapoor Khan and Mona Singh in the movie. Directed by Advait Chandan, the film hit the big screen on August 11, 2023.
