Fatima Sana Shaikh has just revealed that she ended a past relationship because her ex-boyfriend came at her aggressively for the way she dressed up. The actress shared how the ex-boyfriend would come at her aggressively when she did not dress up to his standards. The actress got candid during her conversation with Hauterrfly as she revealed details of the relationship and break-up.

Fatima Sana Shaikh recalls how relationship is measured with clothes women wear

"For some reason, it comes down to clothes for a lot of men," Fatima stated, recalling how most men tend to stop women from dressing up a certain way. She argued how the men tend to forget what the relationship was like and focus on the clothes their woman wears.

Fatima Sana Shaikh opens up about her past relationship

The actress, once rumoured to be dating superstar Aamir Khan, then slowly revealed about her past relationship of a long time. "Both of us had broken up, and we decided not to be together because it was his conditioning," she shared, adding, "It wasn't like my partner would decide don't wear this, but he would come aggressively and feel that I cheated on him. Intellectually, he could understand everything and state how he understood everything but had the gutted reaction and confessed to not knowing what to do about it."

Fatima Sana Shaikh called it quits

The actress decided to call things off because she could not open her wardrobe and think 'will he like it or not' each time. She would get anxious thinking if her clothes matched his standards. The actress explains that while she is open to conversation, it should not come to a point where the relationship becomes only about the clothes. Both Fatima and Ayesha Raza, during the conversation, agreed that mutual respect is important in the relationship.
