Vishnu Vishal, who played a cop in Ratsasan and Silukkuvarupatti Singam, will be donning the khaki again for a crime thriller titled Aaryan. Debutant Praveen K is at the helm of the project which went on floors in Chennai on Friday. The makers have also unveiled a motion poster of the movie.

Vishnu himself is producing the film which has Selvaraghavan playing the antagonist in it. Shraddha Srinath and Vani Bhojan essay female leads in Aaryan which has Sam CS coming on board as its music composer. Debutant Vishnu Subhash will be handling cinematography while San Lokesh is in charge of editing.

Stunt Silva has been roped in to compose action sequences for the film which is slated for a theatrical release next year. The team is planning to wrap up the shooting in one long schedule. Aaryan revolves around a crime story that unravels in a span of five days.

Vishnu will be seen in the role of an IPS officer in the movie; the actor took to Twitter to express happiness at being part of the project. Interestingly, his son's name is Aaryan; he tweeted, "My son now has my film in his name.. This is going to be an unforgettable title for me (sic)."

Vishnu, who was last seen in FIR which was released earlier this year, has completed his bilingual sports drama Katta Gusthi recently. The movie, which has been helmed by Chella Ayyavu, will release in Telugu under the title Matti Kusthi.
