Abhishek Bachchan is gearing up for his next film, which is a father-daughter story. The film, titled Be Happy, reunites the actor with his Ludo child actor, Inaayat Verma, after nearly four years. Directed by Remo D'Souza, the heartwarming drama will premiere directly on Prime Video. The announcement was made at the Prime Video Presents event held in Mumbai.

In the first look, Abhishek is seen donning an apron and bespectacled while helping his daughter, played by Inaayat, tie her hair as she is getting ready to go to school. The film still gives a glimpse into the fact that the actor will be seen as a doting father in the film.

Talking about Be Happy, this moving story follows a father and his gifted daughter as they pursue their dreams of being on the most popular dancing reality programme in the nation. In the film, we see how far a father will go to help his daughter achieve her goals in life.

Remo D'Souza Entertainment is the production company behind the upcoming project, and Lizelle Remo D'Souza serves as the producer. The film is directed by the choreographer-filmmaker, with a writing team consisting of Tushar Hiranandani, Kanishka Singh Deo, Chirag Garg, and him. The key cast also includes Nora Fatehi, Nasser, and Johny Lever.

Moreover, Abhishek will also be seen in yet another father-daughter story, helmed by Shoojit Sircar. In the untitled film, Arjun, played by the actor, who came to the US in search of "The American Dream," now has a second chance at life, and he is taking advantage of it by rekindling the special relationship he has with his daughter. This film follows a father and daughter as they face the unexpected challenges of life and is both humorous and emotionally engaging. It also promises to make viewers realise how short life is and how important it is to treasure every second of it. A "celebration of life" in all its mundane, everyday mayhem, this touching story is touted to melt one's heart.

Along with Abhishek, the film also stars Johnny Lever, Ahilya Bamroo, and Jayant Kriplani.
