Abraham Ozler OTT release – The Jayaram-starrer investigative thriller all set to make its digital debut from THIS date

After a successful theatrical run spanning over a month, the latest Malayalam film, Abraham Ozler, is finally making its way to the digital space soon. According to sources, the investigative thriller will be streaming on Disney+ Hotstar on March 20. Midhun Manuel Thomas has directed this film, which has Jayaram in the lead role.

Abraham Ozler stars Jayaram and Mammootty in addition to a stellar ensemble of actors that includes supporting roles from Jagadish, Anoop Menon, Saiju Kurup, Senthil Krishna, Arya Salim, Anaswara Rajan, Adam Sabiq, Dileesh Pothan, Sai Kumar, and Arjun Ashokan.

Abraham Ozler’s plot

After experiencing a personal tragedy three years prior, ACP Abraham Ozler is dealing with depression and insomania. He is assigned to a murder case in which the victim has been surgically and fatally wounded to bleed to death. Two more murders follow the same pattern, so Ozler and his group have to remain extremely vigilant to prevent another victim.

More suspects surface as he puts the clues together, which makes Ozler doubt his own conclusions and the perplexing motives of the criminals. The main plot point of the movie is whether he can identify the culprit and uncover even the smallest hint regarding his spouse and child, who were considered dead.

Jayaram’s all-time highest-grossing solo film

After 30 days of its release, the Jayaram film had brought in a total of Rs. 40.05 crore at the global box office. Over the course of its theatrical run, the Midhun Manuel Thomas directorial has also become the highest-grossing solo film in Jayaram's career. Mammootty's appearance in the movie gave the second half of the movie a much-needed boost.

Abraham Ozler was unable to continue its theatrical run after Premalu, Anweshippin Kandethum, Bramayugam, and Manjummel Boys were released and enjoyed great success. On January 12, more than a month after its initial release, it remained unavailable on OTT.

Both the fans and the platform, which achieved great success with its previous Malayalam film Neru, are eagerly awaiting Abraham Ozler's OTT release.
