Actor Shanthnu Bhagyaraj announces his next titled Magenta

Actor Shanthnu Bhagyaraj, who was last seen in Blue Star, announced a new Tamil project. On Saturday, the actor took to social media to share pictures from the inaugural ceremony of the film. Titled Magenta, the film is directed by Bharat Mohan, who has previously made the Tamil film Igloo.

Shanthnu Bhagyaraj, who was seen in Master, Kasada Thapara and Paava Kadhaigal, has announced a new Tamil film titled Magenta. The film is helmed by Bharat Mohan, who previously helmed the 2019 romantic drama Igloo starring Amzath Khan and Anju Kurian. The actor shared photos from the launch ceremony, which happened on Saturday.

While not much about the film has been announced, Magenta is produced by Leelaram JP, Rekha and Raju. The technical crew consists of Ballu cranking the camera and Dharankumar scoring the music. Pavithran K is the editor. Besides Shanthnu, the upcoming project also features Anjali Nair, Bagavathi Peruma and Sharath Ravi. A release date for Magenta is yet to be announced.

Meanwhile, Shanthnu is also part of Madraskaaran actor Shane Nigam's 25th film. Directed by debutant filmmaker Unni Sivalingam, it will be a sports-based drama and will also feature Preethi Asrani in a prominent role. A release date for this film has not yet been announced.
