Adah Sharma rose to fame after her film The Kerala Story became a big hit. The actress also made headlines when she moved to the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s flat after his demise. Recently, in an interview, the actress revealed that she faced backlash after moving into the Mumbai flat that was occupied by the Chhichhore actor. Read on to know what she said!
Adah Sharma revealed that when she moved to the flat which belonged to Sushant Singh Rajput, she faced a lot of criticism. She, however also mentioned that she remained focused on her work and ignored it all. The actress also mentioned that it is not possible to respond to every opinion and people are free to voice their thoughts in a democratic country.
In an interview with India Today, Adah Sharma said that she remained unaffected by the negativity around her and focused on her work. “This is a free country, and everyone has the right to have an opinion. If they feel about something, they should... and continue to do so," she said.
Further, talking about Sushant Singh Rajput's place, she added, "I am not here to tell anyone 'I am a good person' or give them reasons for my actions. I did what I had to do, and I know myself. And just like I don't want anyone to change for me, I would also not change myself. I am really all settled in the house, and I really love the place."
For the uninitiated, Sushant Singh Rajput rented the Mumbai apartment in December 2019 and paid ₹4.5 lakh per month as rent. He was found dead in the same apartment on June 14, 2020.
