Adarsh Gourav reveals how Samantha Ruth Prabhu helped him to get Telugu debut film - 'I should thank her for...'

Bollywood actor Adarsh Gourav recently announced that he will be making his acting debut in the Telugu film industry. The actor confirmed that he is a part of filmmaker Baba Shashank's upcoming psychological thriller movie. Produced by Jahnavi, the movie will be released this year. In a new interview, Adarsh revealed how actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu paved the way for his Telugu movie debut. The actor believes he needs to thank the actress for the same.

How Samantha helped Adarsh with his Telugu film debut

Speaking with Hindustan Times, Adarsh Gourav shared that Samantha Ruth Prabhu's team made him meet many people in the Telugu film industry. That is how the actor met the producer and director of his Telugu movie.

"Actually, I should thank Samantha for this, because I was at Citadel’s after party, and I was telling her that I wanted to start working in Telugu films. She said, ‘Why don't you go and take some meetings there and I'll help you to take those meetings and see through’," shared Adarsh.

The actor further revealed, "Her business partner and her manager made me meet a lot of people and then I met the producer and director of this film. That's how I ended up getting the part; it was a stroke of luck."

Adarsh went on to reveal that Telugu is his mother tongue and he wanted to work in that film industry. However, the actor didn't know how to get started because he 'couldn't find a in road'. The actor, who is currently shooting for the film, spoke about working with people who speak the same language as his mother tongue.

"Even though you don't know them, you feel like they understand you and you understand them, it's special," he added. Gourav's film is backed by Jahnavi, who is the daughter of RRR producer DVV Danayya.

Adarsh Gourav's work front

On the work front, Adarsh Gourav was recently seen in Superboys of Malegaon. Directed by Reema Kagti, the film has been penned by Varun Grover. Adarsh featured in the film with Viineet Kumar Siingh, Shashank Arora and Anuj Singh Duhan.
