Ae Watan Mere Watan, one of the most eagerly awaited patriotic films is all set to release this month. After the intriguing posters and trailer, the makers have now released another exciting poster of this Sara Ali Khan starrer. As we all know Emraan Hashmi will be seen in a cameo appearance in the film, and now the first poster of the actor has been released by the makers. The actor will be seen donning the role of activist Ram Manohar Lohia.

Today, on March 11, the makers took to their social media accounts to unveil the captivating new poster from the film, Ae Watan Mere Watan. In the poster, Emraan Hashmi is seen taking up the role of Ram Manohar Lohia, an iconic figure from India's struggle for Independence.

With the poster, the caption read: "channelling the fearless voice of independence!"

The Jannat actor appears convincing as he dons the character of a historic person. With the versatility the actor has with each character he plays on screen, it will be interesting to watch him play Ram Manohar Lohia.

Earlier, while speaking about the film, Emraan said, "Ae Watan Mere Watan is a heartfelt story about a lesser-known chapter from India’s freedom struggle. The movie is different from anything I have done thus far."

The trailer of the film was released a week ago and transported the audience to the pre-Independence era. Sara Ali Khan is introduced as she plays the character of Usha, a 22-year-old college girl in Bombay. She is in her pursuit to help India achieve its freedom through an underground radio station that becomes the fuel that fires the Quit India Movement. The trailer highlights the sacrifices, courage, and importance the youth represented during India's fight for freedom.

Apart from Sara Ali Khan and Emraan Hashmi, the film also stars Abhay Verma, Sachin Khedekar, Sparsh Shrivastav, Anand Tiwari, and Alexx O'Neil in important roles. The film is directed by Kannan Iyer and produced by Karan Johar, Somen Mishra, and Apoorva Mehta.

Ae Watan Mere Watan will premiere on Amazon Prime Video on March 21, 2024.
