After Kartik Aaryan’s exit, Vikrant Massey confirms lead role in Dostana 2

Vikrant Massey is all set to work in Karan Johar's home banner, following his recent National Award triumph alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Rani Mukerji. The actor will co-star with Lakshya, who starred in The Ba***ds of Bollywood, in the much-anticipated sequel to KJo-produced Dostana.

Vikrant Massey confirms role

"You will see me doing that soon. I think this news is already out. I don’t know why I’m not talking. I’m doing Dostana 2. I’m doing my first Dharma movie," Massey told Times Now.

Another thing that fans can anticipate from the actor is a chic new look. "Usme, you will see me wearing good designer clothes. Karan (Johar) sir will make sure that I have good clothes to wear and that I wear those fancy sunglasses. Shooting somewhere in Europe," Massey revealed.

Female lead remains a mystery

He chose not to comment when asked about the female protagonist. Massey stated, "I think woh main nahi bolunga. Woh Karan sir hi bolenge toh behtar hai. Uski bhi toh badi announcement hai (I won’t reveal that; Karan sir will say, as it is a big announcement)."

He went on to say, "Lakshya is a part of the movie. But let the girl be a surprise."

Dostana 2 faces delays and recasting
