After Kuberaa's success, Dhanush and Venky Atluri to join forces again?

Kuberaa is one of the biggest hits in 2025 and has taken a solid start at the box office. Dhanush and Nagarjuna play lead roles in this film, which has been directed by Sekhar Kammula. Dhanush is being lauded for his stunning performance in the Telugu states, and his market has only grown by leaps and bounds. Kuberaa is Dhanush's second film in Telugu after Sir, which was directed by Venky Atluri.

Dhanush signs yet another Telugu film?

Now, the news in film circles is that Venky Atluri recently met Dhanush and narrated a new script of his, which Dhanush loved. One of the sources close to the unit has revealed to us that Dhanush liked the idea and asked Venky Atluri for a detailed narration. 

Dhanush is getting solid applause in Telugu and has amassed a massive fan following. That is the reason he is quite eager to work more in Telugu and has spread the word within the Telugu film industry.

Already, Venky Atluri has directed Dhanush in Sir, and they share a close bond. If Dhanush okays the project, it will be the second time that they will join hands. The news is that the makers of Sir, DJ Tillu, and Lucky Baskhar, Sithara Entertainments, will bankroll the film. 

Dhanush's films have always worked in Telugu, and it all started with Raghuvaran BTECH. The film is considered a cult classic in Telugu cinema, and since then, all Dhanush films have opened quite well in Telugu.

Dhanush shows more interest in doing Telugu films

With such great stories coming out from Telugu cinema in recent times, Dhanush is quite keen to work with Telugu directors in the days to come as well. He played the role of a beggar named Deva in Kuberaa and stunned everyone. 

The likes of Chiranjeevi have praised Dhanush big time and stated that no other actor in the country could have pulled off this role. As of now, Venky Atluri is busy with Suriya's film, and if everything goes as planned, the said Dhanush-Atluri film will go on floors in the year 2027 after Dhanush wraps up his pending assignments.
