Ali Fazal is one of the most talented actors in the film industry. He is popularly known for his Guddu Pandit role in the Mirzapur series. The actor is all set to be seen in Mirzapur: The Movie and Aamir Khan’s upcoming production Lahore 1947. Amid this, a report confirmed that Ali will have a Shakun Batra film next that will focus on the dualities of digital life.

Sources close to Ali Fazal reported that the actor is all set to team up with the Gehraiyaan director, Shakun Batra, for a new film centred around the world of social media. Although no official announcement has been made, inside sources are suggesting that the project could explore the complexities, pressures and dualities of digital life, which is an interesting change for both Ali and Shakun.

The source shared that Ali has been quietly working on something very exciting. His recent ‘It’s a wrap’ post has only added fuel to the news. 

"He and Shakun Batra have collaborated on a film that dives deep into the impact of social media on modern relationships and identity. This will be one of the most unique projects Ali has taken up, and fans are eagerly waiting for an official confirmation," it added.

Mirzapur: The Film is an upcoming cinematic adaptation of the hit Prime Video (subscribers of OTTplay Premium will be able to watch the show with a top-up) crime series, set to release in 2026.
