Even as Vijay-starrer Beast, directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, is yet to hit the screens, there are several reports doing the rounds on the star's upcoming projects. Fans of the actor, who have been eagerly waiting for an update from Beast, which is his 65th film, was content with the director surprising them with a working still the other day.

Though it is expected that the movie might release on April 2022, the makers are yet to come up with an official release date. In the meantime, fans and movie lovers are also eager to know when Thalapathy 66 (tentative title), under the direction of Vamshi Paidipally, will go on floors.

We have now learnt that Vijay might join hands with Atlee again for the fourth time. The duo had earlier worked for Theri (streaming on Amazon Prime Video), Mersal (streaming on Netflix and Zee5) and Bigil (streaming on Amazon Prime Video), which turned out to be turning points in the star's career.

However, this project is said to be Vijay's 68th movie (Thalapathy 68), and might release on 2023. For those who are wondering on which filmmaker the actor is going to collaborate with for Thalapathy 67, it could be Lokesh Kanagaraj again after Master (streaming on Amazon Prime Video), according to the grapevine.

While Atlee is currently busy with his Bollywood debut, starring Shah Rukh Khan and Nayanthara, Lokesh is shooting for Kamal Haasan-starrer Vikram. As the veteran actor-filmmaker is recovering from COVID-19, it is heard that Vikram's release plans may be affected by a couple of weeks.

According to sources, the makers had planned a theatrical release for the film on the last week of March. Looks like the project will join a few other biggies on April.
