After Youth, Suraj Venjaramoodu signs his next Tamil film; to star in Aishwarya Rajinikanth’s Texla

Actor Suraj Venjaramoodu, who is known for his prominent work in Malayalam film industry, had made his Tamil debut in the 2025 film Veera Dheera Sooran: Part 2. With the actor now anticipating the release of his next Tamil feature, Youth, this March, Suraj has already announced his next project in Tamil. It is Aishwarya Rajinikanth’s Texla.

Suraj Venjaramoodu has signed his next Tamil film titled Texla. The project was recently announced with the makers launching the film through a ceremony. Texla will be Suraj’s third Tamil film. He had already appeared as antagonist in Vikram-starrer Veera Dheera Sooran: Part 2 and will also star in a prominent role in Youth.

With this, Suraj has already announced his next film in Tamil. Titled Texla, the film is directed by Aishwarya Rajinikanth and will also star Jai. The makers conducted the inaugural ceremony recently, with Suraj and Jai taking part in the function.

A title teaser of Texla was recently released, which shows a young boy eagerly waiting for something. Initially disappointed, the boy along with other young fellows in the village are rejoiced to know that it has come. The teaser ends with the boys watching something being shown on a tent cinema. The Aishwarya Rajinikanth film will have music scored by Yuvan Shankar Raja, with more details on the project to be unveiled in the coming days.

Suraj Venjaramoodu will be next seen in Tamil film Youth. The film is slated for theatrical release on March 19. Written and directed by Ken Karunaas in his debut, Youth will feature Ken in the lead role as well, with GV Prakash scoring the music. Anishma Anilkumar Devadarshini, Meenakshi Dinesh and others are part of the cast. It is to be noted that Youth will be clashing with Hindi biggie Dhurandhar 2 starring Ranveer Singh for the Eid weekend.
